Made in hand-blown Murano glass using the "flying hand" technique, the Fazzoletto Venini vase belongs to the eponymous collection, one of Fulvio Bianconi's most iconic works.
The Fazzoletto Venini vase belongs to the Fazzoletto collection, designed by Fulvio Bianconi and Paolo Venini in 1948, and one of the first works Bianconi designed for Venini. The shape recalls a handkerchief caught in the wind, achieved through a circular gesture of the master glassmaker using the "flying hand" technique.
The vase is hand-blown in Italy by the Murano master glassmakers and is part of the permanent collection at MoMA, New York. The variations between each piece are part of the artisanal process and make every piece unique. Available in three sizes.
