To mark the thirtieth anniversary of the “9093” kettle designed by Michael Graves in 1985, a special gift box set was created for design enthusiasts, allowing the whistle to be purchased separately. The set includes two whistles: the “Tea Rex” model and the bird-shaped one. The choice of the dragon and its color is the author’s nod to Chinese culture, which has elevated these creatures as symbols of strength and good fortune. The whistles come in special packaging, with graphics that bring the icon of the new whistle into dialogue with the original drawing.
