9091 ALESSI KETTLE
The 9091 kettle stands out for its melodic brass whistle, featuring an original design made up of two small pipes that produce the notes E and B, creating a harmonious and instantly recognisable sound.
Designed by Richard Sapper, it originates from a personal childhood memory: the poetic sound of the sirens of boats travelling along the River Rhine.
This inspiration led to the idea of replacing the traditional sharp whistle with a pleasant and enveloping melody, able to accompany boiling without interrupting a moment of relaxation.
The 9091 kettle thus becomes a multisensory object, designed to turn an everyday action into a gentle and reassuring listening experience.
