The Idalion 897.00 Venini table lamp, designed by Alessandro Mendini between 1993 and 1994, draws inspiration from the shapes of the vase of the same name created by the designer for Venini. Its flowing, sculptural lines express Mendini's distinctive aesthetic language, transforming a lighting object into a decorative piece with an artistic character.

Reissued by Venini, Idalion is made of blown glass, entirely handcrafted by Murano master glassmakers. Its distinctive shape highlights the traditional craftsmanship of glassmaking and diffuses a soft, enveloping light. A lighting piece that combines Murano's glassmaking heritage with Italian design.
