Samet Low Gervasoni Modern Sofa

The Samet Low Gervasoni sofa, designed by Federica Biasi, interprets the Samet modular system in a low-profile version with a lounge feel. Inspired by Thai imagery, it combines soft shapes and understated volumes, creating a welcoming, informal relaxation area. The elements can be arranged to create straight compositions, corner layouts or freer configurations, adapting the sofa to the space and different needs.
The plywood and solid wood frame features elastic webbing and high-density polyurethane foam padding with varying densities. The thermally bonded fibre covering of the frame and the polyurethane foam back cushions complete the padding, while the black polyethylene feet support the base. The removable cover makes everyday maintenance easier.
The low proportions and freedom of composition give Samet Low a contemporary character, ideal for enjoying the living room in a relaxed way. Tailored details enhance the upholstered surfaces: with Kingsman and Corduroy fabrics, the stripes run perpendicular to the quilting; with 3D fabric, there is no quilting and only an internal seam is provided.
