Designed by Nicola Bonriposi, Yak is an innovative modular sofa inspired by the resilience and versatility of the animal it’s named after. Made with recyclable materials, it embodies an eco-conscious design approach that ensures durability, easy maintenance, and superior comfort thanks to its pocket spring padding. The absence of screws and glue highlights a sustainable construction focused on reducing waste. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, Yak is fully removable. The internal structure is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene), a lightweight, 100% recyclable material with excellent mechanical properties, making the sofa sturdy yet easy to move.
The Yak system is built around two main modules – one for the seat and one for the backrest and armrest – allowing for a simple and highly customizable configuration.
