JM01 by Alessi is a container in 18/10 stainless steel with a raised relief pattern, designed to store small objects and keepsakes, wrap a gift, or neatly organise desk accessories.
Created by London-based designer Jasper Morrison, the piece reinterprets an ancient and refined goldsmithing technique—Etruscan granulation—through an industrial lens. The pattern is achieved via cold stamping of the steel: the surface plays with light to form a luminous “skin” that enhances both clean, neutral forms and more complex volumes.
