The Shell Lounge Gervasoni Rex Kralj chair, designed by Niko Kralj in 1956, interprets lounge seating through a shell composed of two bent plywood panels. The shaped surfaces meet to create a distinctive profile, where soft curves and defined angles strike a balance between expressiveness and visual lightness.
The ergonomic shape of the seat and backrest is designed to welcome the body and provide comfortable support. Available with or without upholstery, Shell Lounge highlights the craftsmanship of bent wood and offers a choice between the simplicity of exposed surfaces and an upholstered finish.
