The Shell Gervasoni Rex Kralj wooden armchair, designed by Niko Kralj in 1956, combines a solid wood frame with a bent plywood seat and backrest. The soft lines of the shell meet the minimalist profile of the legs and the shaped armrests, creating a seat with a warm, natural appearance.
The woodworking highlights the curves of the design, while the armrests provide comfortable support and complete the armchair’s ergonomic shape. The option to upholster just the seat or the entire shell in fabric or leather allows its appearance and tactile qualities to be personalised.
