Doge Bonaldo Armchair with Upholstered Base

The Doge Bonaldo Armchair with Upholstered Base, designed by Mauro Lipparini, takes inspiration from the Doge of the historic Venetian Republic. Two flaps extending from the armrests wrap around the seat and recall the Doge's characteristic headgear, creating a recognizable silhouette in which 1970s inspiration meets a contemporary design language. The upholstered base gives this version particularly compact and balanced proportions.

Doge is available with fabric or leather upholstery and can be configured with either a fixed base or a swivel base with automatic return mechanism. The upholstery is not removable.

DOGE BONALDO ARMCHAIR STRUCTURAL FEATURES:

The backrest features a metal structure padded with cold-foamed polyurethane.

The seat features a wood and engineered wood structure with elastic belts, shaped polyurethane foam padding in different densities and a velveteen cover coupled with polyester fibre.

The base can be a metal swivel version with automatic return mechanism or fitted with fixed feet.
