One Page Armchair Moroso
Design Ron Arad
The One Page armchair by Moroso is an iconic project by Ron Arad, conceived as the modeling of a single sheet of paper. An homage to the continuity of forms and the designer’s sculptural approach, combined with Moroso's manufacturing expertise.
The structure is developed on two levels: the outer shell is made of rigid polyurethane, while the inner part is in flexible moulded polyurethane. This particular production process creates an armchair where seat, armrests and backrest form a single enveloping element, providing maximum comfort without the need for traditional padding.
Suitable for both residential and contract settings, the armchair features a swivel base with five-spoke die-cast aluminum support, available either in a tilting or fixed version. The matching footrest is made with the same production technology, completing the sheet-inspired concept.
One Page Armchair Structure
The One Page armchair has a load-bearing shell in structural rigid expanded polyurethane and a front padded part in soft moulded polyurethane. As standard, the armchair complies with CAL TB 117 and is free from flame retardants.
On request, one of the following mechanisms can be selected (to be specified to customer service when ordering):
- Longitudinal tilting mechanism: allows for a gentle rocking motion forwards and backwards
- Longitudinal tilting mechanism with locking lever (on/off function)
The steel base is available in the following finishes:
- Black
- Anthracite
