Pezzati Venini Vase 704.08
Designed by Fulvio Bianconi in 1950 and first presented at the Venice Biennale, the Pezzati Venini vase is made from tiny tiles of coloured glass, arranged like a mosaic and fused in the fire to create a vibrant surface, which is then blown and shaped into fluid, asymmetrical forms.
The vase is hand-crafted in Italy by the Murano master glassmakers. The variations between each piece are part of the artisanal process and make every piece unique.
