Where Are My Glasses Double Lens Venini Vase 777.52
The Where Are My Glasses Double Lens Venini vase belongs to the Where Are My Glasses? collection, designed by Ron Arad for Venini in 2018. The project grew out of the designer's playful idea: after sketches, models and renderings, Venini's master glassmakers blew molten glass directly into an iron eyeglass frame, which remains set into the vase.
In the Double Lens version two side-by-side vases, in two paired colours, each pass through one of the lenses of the frame, which holds them together. The hand-blown shape makes every piece different: dimensions may vary by a few centimetres. The vase is hand-blown and shaped in Italy by the Murano master glassmakers.
