Where Are My Glasses Under Venini Vase 777.50
The Where Are My Glasses Under Venini vase belongs to the Where Are My Glasses? collection, designed by Ron Arad for Venini in 2018. The project grew out of the designer's playful idea: after sketches, models and renderings, Venini's master glassmakers blew molten glass directly into an iron eyeglass frame, which remains set into the vase.
In the Under version the frame sits in the lower part of the vase. The colour fades into crystal, while the irregular shape, achieved with a mixed blowing technique, makes every piece different: dimensions may vary by a few centimetres. The vase is hand-blown and shaped in Italy by the Murano master glassmakers.
