Peanut B. and Peanut B.X. Bonaldo Modular Sofa

The Peanut B. and Peanut B.X. sofa, designed by Mauro Lipparini for Bonaldo, is a modular system characterised by soft volumes and a high degree of design freedom. Peanut B. can be arranged in traditional configurations or as an island in the centre of the room, while Peanut B.X. expands the system with asymmetrical, pentagonal and trapezoidal elements. Some modules also feature a mechanism that allows the seat to be extended.

The collection is available with fully removable fabric or leather upholstery. It can be ordered with standard feather padding or Air Soft padding on request. Both versions are available at the same price and the desired option must be specified when ordering.

FRAME AND UPHOLSTERY PEANUT B. AND PEANUT B.X. BONALDO:

The internal frame is made of wood and wood composite with metal supports. The elements of the composition are connected by a fork mechanism, while movable elements use a double bracket. Each module is upholstered in fabric or leather down to the floor; the elements of the composition must be separated in order to remove the covers.

SEAT AND BACKREST PEANUT B. AND PEANUT B.X. BONALDO:

Standard feather padding:

• Seat: polyurethane foam padding in different densities. The seat and front of the backrest feature a layer made of 60% white feathers and 40% virgin latex chips enclosed in 100% cotton feather-proof fabric. The remaining areas have a cotton cloth cover coupled with polyester fibre.
• Armrests and backrests: polyurethane foam padding in different densities; the front features a layer made of 60% white feathers and 40% virgin latex chips enclosed in 100% cotton feather-proof fabric.

Air Soft padding on request:

• Seat: polyurethane foam padding in different densities with a layer of shaped Air Soft polyurethane foam on the seat and front of the backrest; velveteen cover coupled with polyester fibre.
• Armrests and backrests: polyurethane foam padding in different densities with a layer of shaped Air Soft polyurethane foam on the front; velveteen cover coupled with polyester fibre.

Decorative cushions are optional and feature padding made of 50% feathers and 50% polyester fibre enclosed in 100% cotton feather-proof fabric.

FEET PEANUT B. AND PEANUT B.X. BONALDO:

• Material: matt anthracite grey painted wood.
• Standard: cylindrical foot H. 2.5 cm, with seat height 44 cm.
• On request: high foot H. 6.5 cm, with seat height 48 cm.
• Restriction: the high feet are not available for movable central elements with codes DPN3 and DPN1 or for compositions that include either of these elements.
