Backdrop Bonaldo Sideboard

The Backdrop Bonaldo Sideboard, designed by Alain Gilles, is defined by the regular repetition of vertical lines extending across the full width of the cabinet. The design draws inspiration from the façades of modernist architecture: the grooves establish the rhythm of the composition while also concealing the door-opening system. The surrounding frame remains visually discreet, allowing the regularity of the front elements to take centre stage.

Backdrop is available in 181 and 240 cm widths and in three predefined configurations. The first features a Canaletto walnut frame and doors. The second combines a matt bronze lacquered wood frame with pantographed doors in brushed bronze. The third combines a matt lead lacquered wood frame with pantographed doors in brushed lead. In every version, the plinth base is in anthracite grey melamine-faced wood and the internal structure is in dark grey melamine-faced wood.
