Alix Bonaldo Bookcase, designed by Maurizio and Silvia Varsi, featuring a large Canaletto walnut frame supported by a slender metal structure with aluminium shelves. Available in 124 and 184 cm widths, with Supreme anthracite or Metal Plus structure.
The Alix Bonaldo Bookcase, designed by Maurizio and Silvia Varsi, is conceived as a meeting point between a bookcase and a large wall-mounted picture frame. The substantial wooden frame projects beyond the slender metal structure fixed to the wall, creating the impression that the composition is floating above the floor. The design is defined by the contrast between the warmth of the wooden frame, the technical character of the metal and the visual lightness of the aluminium shelves.
Alix is available in 124 and 184 cm widths, both with a depth of 30 cm and a height of 210 cm. The frame is always made of veneered Canaletto walnut. The standard structure is in Supreme anthracite Metal and can be selected, at a surcharge, in Metal Plus bronze, lead or pearl gold. The shelves are in painted aluminium in the same finish as the structure. The bookcase requires wall mounting.
